Program Overview

Architectural Graduate Program is an interdisciplinary program offered at the Department of Architecure at stanbul Ayd n Univeristy. In addition to the undergraduate students of Architecture, students from Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geodesy and Photogrammetry, Forest and Agricultural Engineering, City and Regional planning, Landscape Architecture and Interior Design can also apply for Architectural Graduate Program. The candidates from fields other than the field of Architecture should successfully complete the courses "MIM 301-Architectural History and Theory III and MIM 305 Architectural Design III" that are part of the undergraduate curriculum of the Department of Architecture. The need for interdisciplinary work in architecture is growing. Building structures in harmony with their environment and ecological, geological, technological, sociological and physiological needs particularly mandate this interdiscplinary approach. To this end, the Graduate Program in Architecture at the Institute of Science and Technology at Istanbul Ayd n University is aimed at developing design strategies using the potentials of landscape architecture and sciences on topography structure.

Additional Information & Requirements

Completion of all the courses designated within the curriculum of the programme, having a total of 120 ECTS Credits including a thesis work of 60 ECTS, with passing grades, and Achievement of a cumulative grade point average CGPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, Undergraduate diploma a copy translated to Turkish or English, Undergraduate transcript a copy translated to Turkish or English, Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport, A cumulative GPA of 2,5 on a 4,0 or equivalent, English degree program applicants: TOEFL score - 66 points or YDS/Y KD L score - 55 points / PTE 60, If students do not have TOEFL or YDS/Y KD L or PTE then they have to pass English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU, Students applying for Turkish Degree program TOMER B2 Level, If you know Turkish You can pass a Turkish Proficiency Exam, 1 Biometric Photograph
