Program Overview

Department of Public Finance of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Hacettepe University was founded in 1982 and started Bachelor's programme in the academic year of 1983-1984. The aim of the Department of Public Finance is to provide the educated work force needed both by private and public sectors. Turkish is the language of instruction. The department consists of four subfields: Theory of Public Finance, Fiscal Economics, Budgeting and Fiscal Planning and Fiscal Law. There is a Master's Programme with thesis and a PhD programme under the Institute of Social Sciences.

University diploma in any field can apply for the program, Graduation certificate or Photocopy of Diploma, Transcript with GPA, ALES (true copy or approved photocopy), At least 60pts in ALES, The copies not approved more than 3 years, 600pts in GRE or 550pts in GMAT, Those who do not have YDS Result or do not have an equivalent point in YDS can apply, TOMER certificate (70pts and over) for foreigners-The bank document of payment, High School Certificates /Diplomas-a GCE A Level: Provided that the average grade is C in minimum; at least 3 A-Level; or 2 A-Level and 1 AS-Level scores from relevant subjects, International Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 33, with one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, French Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 14 in the stream relevant to the program applied, ABITUR -A maximum score of 2, one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, Pishdanesgahi-A minimum score of 18, Foreign Language Points: TOEFL(IBT) 163 (Comp.based), TOEFL(CBT) 68 (Internet based), IELTS-5, CPE-C, UDS-60, KPDS-60, YDS-60
