The program aims at educating professional Turkish Language teachers who have adopted with the latest developments in Turkish language teaching methods, techniques, and theories, who have gained knowledge and skills required to apply them at the optimal level. The program also aims at evaluating Turkish language Teaching in the light of innovative and contemporary approaches and to educate future academicians, teachers, and turcologists in order to provide scientific studies into the Turkish Language Teaching field.

Additional Information & Requirements

Bachelor of Arts degree in either Turkish Education, Turkish Language and Literature Education, Contemporary Turkish Dialects. A score of 55(at least) from verbal quantity part in the Entrance Examinations of Academic Personnel and Graduate Education. for the ones who have language certificates) TOFEL : TOEFL IBT 60, TOEFL CBT 170-172, TOEFL PBT 497-499, YDS : 50 puan ve zeri, IELTS : 3,5 puan ve zeri. For the ones who don't have language certificates): A score of 60 (at least) from Ba kent University English Proficiency Exam. expected to hold Bachelor of Arts degree from one of the following programs: Turkish Education, Turkish Language and Literature Education, Turkish Language and Literature, Contemporary Turkish Dialects. Successfully Completed 120 ECTS in the curriculum and have obtained cumulative grade avarage of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 scale.
