Program Overview

The ultimate aim of the Curriculum and Instruction Program is to train educational leaders who can design, develop, and implement high quality instructional programs of the twenty-first century. By completion of this program, the students will demonstrate their ability to play leadership roles in designing, implementing, assessing and evaluating instructional programs at all levels; to modify instructional plans when necessary; to critically analyze the principles, practices, and problems in the current educational system in Turkey as well as those in other countries.

Additional Information & Requirements

Minimum score of 55 on the ALES Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam. Undergraduate diploma from a faculty of education. To have Completed a teacher certification program or a master program of secondary education, field-specific teacher education without thesis. Not to be currently registered in any of higher education programs. English proficiency (one of the following): TOFEL : TOEFL IBI 50, TOEFL CBT 130, TOEFL PBT 450, KPDS : 50 +, DS : 50 +. For the applicant who has not Achieved any of the scores above should secure at least 60 points on the proficiency exam given by the English Language Department. Minimum of 120 ECTS credit requirement with a Minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00. A thesis will be defended.
