MS Biomedical Engineering

"Ankara University Department of Biomedical Engineering was established in 2015 and research activities are being carried out in the Department with ""From Laboratory to Clinic"" approach in collaboration with Universities, research centers and industry. Main research topics of the program are: biofluids, advanced biomaterial manufacturing techniques, 3D bioprinting, bioreactors, stem cells, tissue engineering, cell programming, novel technologies and biomaterials to direct stem cell fate, nanomaterials in cancer and regenerative medicine, biomarker determination with proteomics and metabolomics approaches, new imaging techniques by using tissue optical and electrical properties, development of image reconstruction algoritms, and multi-modality imaging techniques. Graduate students have access to Biofluids Research Laboratory, Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Research Laboratory, Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine Research Laboratory, Proteomics and Metabolomics Research Laboratory and Medical Imaging Research Laboratory.
