Department of Biotechnology is offering a Master of Science Program with Thesis in Biotechnology which aims to have graduates specialized in the field of health and agricultural biotechnology. Graduates are well equipped with the theoretical knowledge and research techniques and aware of the up-to-date applications, have contribution to literature, and use technical background for the needs of the society in accordance with ethical standards in application and production. The language of instruction is Turkish; however students should have Adequate English skills to follow text materials. Our academic staff may also offer courses in English for the exchange and foreign students.

Additional Information & Requirements

Complete the designated program of courses meeting a Minimum of 120 ECTS credits requirement. The students must take and Succeed at least different 7 courses, qualify at the seminar, and must prepare a MSc thesis (60 ECTS credits). The maximum duration of this program is three years. Students should have a Minimum of (C) grade in order to qualify a course, have a Minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00, and no F1, F2, K, or Z grades for any of the courses, Official high school transcripts, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Registration Letter, Health Certificate, Foreign Nationals Exam that is given by Ba kent University and the ones accepted by Ba kent, GCE General Certificate Education, Cambridge International A Level, SAT CR+CW+M: minimum score of 1000 out of 1600 writing included, International Baccalaureate:At least 24 diploma score out of 45, International science olympaids: Having a gold, silver or bronze medal from the International Science Olympiads recognized by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, West African examination council:Minimum 3 subjects in the related area of the applied program for 5 subjects with at least 25 points in total
