MA in History, Theory and Criticism in Architecture

Architectural History, Theory and CriticismHas been designed with the non-thesis program carried out within the Faculty of Architecture. The MSc programs in Architecture treat design as an integrated field of culture and production where different disciplines come together. It focuses on different scales ranging from geographical scale to individual, from urban scale to object, from architectural space to product. It interrogates the patterns created by human practices - all practices of object, architectural space, city, landscape, nature and daily life - within the design culture. On the one hand, the formation forms of critical thinking; on the other hand, problematizes the theoretical infrastructure of design culture at different scales. Re-examine design technologies and production styles with creative and critical thinking. Thus, it aims to establish a design research ground that is nourished by critical theory.
