This programme is conducted under the department of medical microbiology at the faculty of medicine, and supported by 1 professor from the division of medical parasitology besides 10 professor and 1 associate professor from the department of medical microbiology. General and specific medical parasitology subjects are given by required and elective courses. Subjects like biology and epidemiology of medically important parasites, pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical processes in the diagnosis of parasitic diseases, control of parasitic diseases and research methods in this field takes place in this programme.
