As an institution that works in multidisciplinary team approach since 1970s ; Ankara University Medical Faculty Department of Psychiatry constituted Department of Social Psychiatry within Ankara University Institute of Medical Sciences Department. With a team that consists of instructors from various disciplines, aim of the Department of Social Psychiatry is to train personnels that have the knowledge to conduct several functions in the area of public mental health. This practice as a part of postgraduate "Master" program is planned with or without thesis.
