Program Overview

Foundations of department of Speech and Language Therapy in Hacettepe University have been laid with the onset of graduate program of Audiology in 1968. After 1989, graduate program of Audiology had been revised and have continued as Audiology and Speech Disorders both for doctorate and master's degree programmes. Department of Speech and Language Therapy has been officially opened up in 17th April 2013 subpart of Audiology Department.

Entering for department of Speech and Language Therapy graduate programme, candidates should primarily graduate from Speech and Language Therapy undergraduate programme, Graduation certificate or Photocopy of Diploma, Transcript with GPA, ALES (true copy or approved photocopy), At least 60pts in ALES, The copies not approved more than 3 years, 600pts in GRE or 550pts in GMAT, Those who do not have YDS Result or do not have an equivalent point in YDS can apply, TOMER certificate (70pts and over) for foreigners-The bank document of payment, High School Certificates /Diplomas-a GCE A Level: Provided that the average grade is C in minimum; at least 3 A-Level; or 2 A-Level and 1 AS-Level scores from relevant subjects, International Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 33, with one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, French Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 14 in the stream relevant to the program applied, ABITUR -A maximum score of 2, one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, Pishdanesgahi-A minimum score of 18, Foreign Language Points: TOEFL(IBT) 163 (Comp.based), TOEFL(CBT) 68 (Internet based), IELTS-5, CPE-C, UDS-60, KPDS-60, YDS-60
