Program Overview

Department of Biostatistics is an active department since 1995 and has 5 full time faculty members including 2 Professors, 2 Associate Professors and 1 Assistant Professor.The compulsory courses offered by the department are; Biostatistics I & II, Research Methods in Health Sciences, Biostatistical Consulting. The elective courses that aims to be familiar with the statistical methods and terminology used in the health sciences and to strenghten the theoretical knowledge are; Mathematical Statistics, Sampling Methods, Statistical Packages, Rates and Proportions, Introduction to Multivariate Analysis, Statistics for Health Sciences.
