Program Overview

Students have to take compulsory courses on Basic Microbiology, Biosafety in Microbiology laboratories, Research Techniques, Microbiological Diagnostic Methods, Antimicrobial drugs and resistance mechanisms. They obliged to submit a Thesis of their research data. After the submission of Thesis to Graduate Institute of Health Sciences, students should defend orally their research against a jury of three experts.

Complete the designated program of courses meet a Minimum of 120 ECTS credits requirement and have a Minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00 and no F1, F2 or Z grades, Official high school transcripts, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Registration Letter, Health Certificate, Foreign Nationals Exam that is given by Ba kent University and the ones accepted by Ba kent, GCE General Certificate Education, Cambridge International A Level, SAT CR+CW+M: minimum score of 1000 out of 1600 writing included, International Baccalaureate:At least 24 diploma score out of 45, International science olympaids: Having a gold, silver or bronze medal from the International Science Olympiads recognized by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, West African examination council:Minimum 3 subjects in the related area of the applied program for 5 subjects with at least 25 points in total
