The Department of Medical Microbiology trains staff who can work in the field of health sciences and have gained basic laboratory skills. Its main research activities are bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses, also covering molecular microbiological diagnostics. To provide students with knowledge in the field of microbiology through theoretical courses, practical trainings, discussions, oral presentations and article presentations and discussions, and with this support, to develop the necessary qualifications of the students to carry out a thesis study.
