Program Overview

The Department of Economics, which provides education under the Social Sciences Institute of Bal kesir University, has been continuing its graduate programs at the Master's and Doctorate levels since its establishment. The Department of Economics is organized with the aim of preparing the students of the Economics Master's program to specialize in the fields of economic theory, economic policy, international economics and econometrics, and for lifelong teaching and research. In the economics master's program, which has an annual quota of 20 students, the advisors are closely interested in the personal development of the students. Again, students are given the opportunity to choose faculty members who are experts in their fields as advisors.
