Program Overview

Family Counseling is a consulting service to help to overcome the problems and relationships of family individuals relate to each other and the problem of children and their families about the individual or between individuals during marriage, separation and divorce. The scope of the priority of family counseling constitute vital issues such as relationship-based issues experienced between spouses or close and extended family around to other individuals, family life cycle according to the new living arrangements and care of children and all other subjects which affect the quality of family life such as health, economic and nutrition.

Additional Information & Requirements

Completion of all the courses designated within the curriculum of the programme, having a total of 120 ECTS Credits including a thesis work of 30 ECTS, with passing grades, and Achievement of a cumulative grade point average CGPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, Undergraduate diploma a copy translated to Turkish or English, Undergraduate transcript a copy translated to Turkish or English, Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport, A cumulative GPA of 2,5 on a 4,0 or equivalent, English degree program applicants: TOEFL score - 66 points or YDS/Y KD L score - 55 points / PTE 60, If students do not have TOEFL or YDS/Y KD L or PTE then they have to pass English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU, Students applying for Turkish Degree program TOMER B2 Level, If you know Turkish You can pass a Turkish Proficiency Exam, 1 Biometric Photograph
