UK Upper Second Class Honours degree (2:1); or overseas equivalent and Grade C or grade 4 GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent (Level 2 Functional Skills Maths and English are regarded as an acceptable equivalent). A minimum of 6 months full time or 12 months part-time relevant experience working with vulnerable adults or children is required at the point of application. Preference will be given to applicants with a wide range of relevant experience and a 2:1 or above degree classification and overseas applicants must have an equivalent level of experience. Applicants with 2:2 (Honours) degree classification and extensive relevant experience will be considered. Where a ‘high 2:2’ is considered, we would normally define this as reflecting a profile of 57% or above.
