The MArch Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2) at UEL is designed for students who’ve completed their Part 1 and are ready to take the next professional step toward architectural registration. Curriculum Structure

Year 1

Your first year focuses on building a strong design and research foundation. Through modules such as Architectural Design Research & Mental Wealth 1, Architectural Design 1, and Technical, Environmental and Professional Studies 1, you’ll experiment with contextual design, explore contemporary cultural debates, and refine your technical understanding.

Year 2

In the final year, you advance into deeper research and more complex design work. Core modules like Architectural Design Research & Mental Wealth 2, Architectural Design 2, and Technical, Environmental and Professional Studies 2 guide you toward developing a fully resolved thesis project that brings together theory, technology and professional practice.
