Program Overview

The UEL MBA is designed to help you grow into a confident, strategic leader who can thrive in today’s fast‑moving business world. You’ll gain practical skills in leadership, strategy, marketing, and digital business, all while learning how to make real‑world decisions that drive results — perfect if you’re aiming for senior management, consultancy, or starting your own business.

Curriculum structure:

  • Year 1 (Core MBA Year + Optional Placement):
In your first year, you’ll dive into essential business areas like finance, operations, marketing, strategy, and leadership. Modules such as Operating Across the Business Core, Next Generation Marketing, Strategy and Leadership, and Value Creation give you the foundation to think strategically and make informed decisions. Alongside these, Mental Capital helps you build resilience, adaptability, and leadership skills that employers really value. Through practical case studies, simulations, and a Business Insight Project, you’ll apply what you learn directly to real business challenges.

  • Optional Placement / Applied Work:
After the taught modules, you can take part in a work placement through the MBA Placement module, gaining hands‑on experience in a real business environment. If you’re entrepreneurial, the MBA Venture Project allows you to work on consultancy projects or even develop your own business or social enterprise — putting theory into practice while building your professional network.
