This course provides you with a broad understanding of the varied role of media and communication in societies.The flexibility of the course means you can prepare to pursue an international career or develop specialist knowledge in particular fields, such as film, political communication or the cultural industries more broadly.Core modules introduce a range of theoretical perspectives and their application in real world contexts. You will also have the opportunity to choose optional modules from across the School. You will undertake an independent research project, working under the guidance of an individual supervisor.Digital signal processing (DSP) is at the core of the communications revolution.
Minimum 2:1 undergraduate honours degree. Overall IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or equivalent.
