Program Overview

The MSc Finance and Data Science at the University of Exeter is a one-year full-time interdisciplinary programme delivered at the Streatham Campus, Exeter. It is jointly taught by the Business School and the Mathematics department, with strong research input from the Exeter Sustainable Finance Centre and the Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

The course combines finance, investment, and data science principles, with an option to specialise in sustainable finance, recognised by the CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing. Students develop practical programming and quantitative skills for financial data analysis, alongside real-world finance applications.
