MSc International Business Management - Extended

12 Months On Campus Masters Program

University of Wolverhampton

Program Overview

If you join the MSc International Business Management – Extended, you’ll gain a strong grounding in how global businesses operate — from supply chains and finance to marketing and cross-cultural management. It’s a great choice if you’re driven and ambitious, even if your undergrad grades weren’t top-notch — you’ll get the knowledge and credentials to pursue a career in international business with confidence

Curriculum Structure

First (and only) Year

During the course, you’ll start with Global Value Chains and Project Management (Module 7BU017) — here you’ll explore how products, services and operations are managed across countries, learn logistics strategies, supplier relationships and sustainable global sourcing, and also build practical project-management skills: planning, team-work, stakeholder management and delivering projects end to end.

Then in International Business Context and Finance (Module 7BU023) you’ll dive into what makes the global business environment tick: how finance, trade, technology and politics shape business strategies and decisions, which helps you understand how companies expand internationally or adapt to changing global markets.

Through Multinational Enterprise Management (Module 7BU016), you’ll study how multinational companies are organized, learn to work in multicultural teams, understand institutional and cultural differences, and apply international business theories to real-world cases — a key for anyone wanting to work across borders.

Finally, in Strategic Global Marketing (Module 7BU027), you’ll learn how to design and implement marketing strategies for a global audience — understanding customer behaviour across countries, adapting marketing mix and supply-chain interplay to succeed internationally.

You’ll also get support in Masters Learning (Module 7BE011) to build your postgraduate-level skills (academic writing, business vocabulary, research basics), which is especially useful if English isn’t your first language or you’re new to UK tertiary education.

And at the end you’ll work on a Research Project / Dissertation — giving you a chance to explore a global-business topic that interests you deeply, and show future employers or graduate schools what you can do with your learning.

Focus Areas

Global supply-chain & project management, international finance and business environment, cross-cultural management, multinational enterprise strategy, global marketing, and postgraduate-level research skills.
