Curriculum Structure

What You’ll Learn

This course blends theory with hands-on practice, giving you the chance to understand marketing from all angles and apply it in real-world situations.

  • Core Marketing Foundations & Strategic Thinking
You’ll start by exploring the fundamentals of marketing and its role in business strategy through modules like Global Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Dynamics and Experience, and Contemporary Advertising. You’ll learn what drives customer decisions, how businesses create value, and how advertising shapes brand perception — building a strong foundation for your marketing career.

  • Brand, Digital & Ethical Marketing
Next, you’ll focus on specialised areas such as Strategic Brand and Communications Management, Digital Marketing and AI, and Sustainability and Ethical Marketing. This is where you’ll gain practical skills to design digital campaigns, manage brand identity, and apply ethical and sustainable marketing practices — essential for modern, socially conscious marketing roles.

  • Research & Real-World Capstone
In your final stage, you’ll complete a Business and Management Research Project, choosing either a consultancy-style project with a real client or a traditional dissertation. This allows you to tailor your work to your interests, whether it’s digital marketing, brand strategy, CRM, or loyalty programmes. The project ensures you graduate with tangible, real-world output you can showcase to employers.

  • Optional Professional Placement (18-month route)
If you choose the placement route, you’ll gain around 20 weeks of real work experience with an employer. This hands-on experience is invaluable, giving you practical insight into the workplace and helping you stand out in the job market.
