24 Months On Campus Masters Program

London Business School London Campus

Program Overview

The Global Masters in Management at London Business School gives you an exceptional chance to earn two internationally respected degrees while experiencing business education in both London and Shanghai. It’s perfect for ambitious graduates who want to understand how organisations operate across borders, build strong analytical and strategic skills, and launch a career with a genuinely global outlook.

Curriculum Structure

Year 1 – London
Your first year in London builds the core foundation you need to understand how modern businesses work. Through modules such as Financial Accounting, Operations Management, Data Analytics for Management and Marketing, you’ll learn how to interpret information, understand organisational performance, and evaluate markets. Courses like Strategic Analysis and The Global Macroeconomy deepen your ability to think critically about how global forces shape business decisions, preparing you for the international focus of Year 2.

Year 2 – Shanghai
In your second year, you move to Shanghai to gain first-hand experience in one of the world’s most dynamic business environments. Here, you’ll continue developing your expertise while completing advanced modules and electives through the partner institution, with a strong emphasis on international business and emerging markets. This year helps you apply what you’ve learned in London to the realities of global strategy, giving you insight into how companies operate, compete and expand in different cultural and economic contexts.

Reputation (employability rankings)

London Business School is consistently placed among the world’s top business schools, with outstanding global employability outcomes and a reputation for developing graduates who are ready for international careers.

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

One of the most exciting parts of the Global MiM is how much of your learning takes place through real business experiences across two world-class cities. In London, you’ll take part in practical workshops, live case challenges and skills training that help you build confidence in analysing data, making decisions and presenting ideas. Then, in Shanghai, you experience business from an entirely different perspective — learning directly within one of the fastest-growing economies in the world and gaining first-hand exposure to how international companies operate in an Asian context. Throughout both years, you’ll have access to LBS’s specialist resources, collaborative study spaces, global networks and career development support, ensuring your learning feels active, relevant and deeply connected to the professional world.
To show you how rich and immersive the experience truly is, here are the key elements you’ll benefit from:

  • LondonLAB live project, where you work with a real organisation to solve a strategic challenge — applying analytics, marketing, financial and operational insights to create recommendations that matter.

  • A dedicated Skills Programme, offering hands-on training in interpersonal communication, teamwork, negotiation, leadership presence and professional effectiveness — developed with input from global employers.

  • Study experiences across two global hubs, giving you practical exposure to Western and Asian business mindsets while developing cultural intelligence.

  • Access to exceptional learning facilities, including modern lecture theatres, breakout spaces, digital tools, career labs and the LBS library — home to world-class management resources.

  • A wide range of electives and experiential modules, enabling you to tailor your learning pathway and gain deeper experience in areas such as consulting, entrepreneurship, finance, or strategy.

  • A truly international cohort, giving you daily opportunities to collaborate with classmates from dozens of countries, strengthening your cross-cultural teamwork and global networking skills.

  • Career Centre support, offering coaching, skills workshops, networking events and employer engagement throughout both years — helping you transition smoothly into international roles.

Progression & Future Opportunities

Graduates of the Global MiM leave London Business School with a rare advantage: deep analytical and strategic capability, combined with real international experience from both London and Shanghai. Employers value this global perspective, and as a result, Global MiM students often secure exciting roles across consulting, finance, technology, luxury, and fast-growing industries. Many step into positions such as Consultant, Business Analyst, Strategy Associate, or Global Management Trainee, where their ability to operate confidently across cultures really stands out.
To help you move into these roles, LBS provides a rich ecosystem of career support and professional opportunities:

  • Dedicated support from the LBS Career Centre, including personalised coaching, recruiting workshops, sector insights, and guidance in navigating global recruitment processes — all available to you throughout the programme.

  • Strong employment outcomes, with LBS MiM-related programmes consistently achieving high placement rates within three months of graduation, supported by the school's global reputation and employer relationships.

  • Access to a powerful recruiter network, with top consulting firms, investment banks, tech companies and multinational organisations actively engaging with LBS students through events, networking sessions and interview opportunities.

  • Long-term value from dual degrees, giving you both an LBS Masters in Management and a Master of Science in International Business — a combination that significantly enhances your mobility across regions and industries.

  • A world-class alumni network, connecting you to more than 50,000 LBS graduates across continents, many of whom work in leadership and strategy roles and often support students in mentoring or recruiting pathways.

  • Global career trajectories, as graduates frequently begin their careers in Europe or Asia before transitioning into international rotations, cross-border projects or global leadership tracks.

Further Academic Progression:

After completing the Global MiM, many students choose to deepen their expertise by pursuing advanced master’s degrees in specialised areas such as finance, analytics, marketing or public policy. Others return to LBS later in their careers to complete the MBA. The strong analytical and international grounding you develop also makes this programme an excellent springboard into research-based pathways, including doctoral studies in management, economics or organisational behaviour.
