Program Overview

The demands on the modern professional engineer are varied. In addition to a general physical and technical understanding in your particular field, deeper specialist knowledge is usually required in areas such as communication, organisation and management. Combining technical learning, provided from Engineering Department, with management and leadership skills, taught by the Management School, this module is designed for engineers wishing to advance to technical managerial positions. Your training will be supported by a series of case studies, workshops and local industry projects, before culminating in a substantial summer project.
