Curriculum Structure

Year 1 (Core Modules – Autumn & Spring):
You’ll begin with Supply Chain Management and Procurement and Inventory Management, where you’ll learn how to design and manage supply networks and procurement strategies. Alongside this, Strategy and Operations Management introduces you to the integration of supply chain decisions with broader business functions.

Year 1 (Core Modules – Spring & Summer):
The focus shifts to Storage and Warehousing Techniques and Transport Techniques and Management, where you’ll explore logistics operations and transport systems. You’ll also study Sustainable Supply Chain Management and the Circular Economy, critically evaluating how sustainability goals can be embedded into supply chain design.

Year 1 (Advanced Modules):
You’ll develop technical expertise in Supply Chain Digitisation and Data Analytics, applying digital tools, blockchain, and AI to logistics and warehousing. The Study, Professional and Analytical Skills module runs across the year, strengthening your academic, professional, and analytical competencies.

Final Stage (Project Options):
You’ll complete a major project worth 60 CATS credits. Options include a traditional dissertation, a Company Collaboration Project (CCP) with an industrial partner, or an Industry Impact Project (IIP) team project tackling a real-world supply chain challenge.
