The program is taught by knowledgeable lecturers and industry experts who have conducted research in the field of Data Science and AI. Each module covers fundamental aspects of data and intelligence, gradually increasing in complexity to ensure you acquire the necessary knowledge and skills required in the digital age.
Throughout the course, real-world case studies will be utilized to illustrate concepts, and you will have the opportunity to apply what you learn in practical settings through a professional work placement.
Additionally, you will have access to cutting-edge equipment and facilities, including Cloud Services, MLOps, and ML Pipelines. You will also be able to utilize specialized software such as Hadoop and MapReduce, Apache Kafka and Storm, as well as Tableau for big data analysis and data visualization.
An undergraduate degree, either a BA or BSc, with a satisfactory grade (typically 2:2 or higher), in a related field is desirable. In cases where the formal academic entry requirements are not met, you may be required to complete a pre-course assessment task. Regarding English language proficiency, the minimum entry requirements are an IELTS Academic score of 6.0, with no sub-score lower than 5.5, or an equivalent qualification.
