Program Overview

The MSc Data Science and Environmental Intelligence at the University of Plymouth is a 12 month full-time postgraduate degree that integrates advanced data science with environmental monitoring and sustainability. Designed for graduates from a range of disciplines, the course focuses on using AI, automation, and big data to tackle environmental challenges.

Delivered through hands-on modules, students gain experience in environmental sensing, analytics, and software development using state-of-the-art laboratories and real-world data.

An optional placement year allows for in-depth industry experience in terrestrial or marine environmental sectors.
