Aerospace engineering is the primary field of engineering concerned with the development of aircraft and spacecraft. It has two major and overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. The course includes study of two-body motion, Hohmann transfer, patched conics for interplanetary and lunar trajectories and the restricted three-body problem. Also include an introduction to powered flights and artificial satellite orbits.
A/AS-levels: AAB including Maths and Physics, other Physical science may be considered Two AS-levels considered in place of one A-level. General Studies accepted. International Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma with 30 points including Maths and Physics at HL5, in any order. IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. At least 75% required overall in Higher secondary(12th). Interview required.
