In this course students will study the complex relationships between tourism, the environment and development. Explore the advantages and disadvantages of tourism as a form of development and examine its environmental impact. Develop their own particular interests in tourism by choosing from a wide range of modules. Students are encouraged to carry out fieldwork for their dissertations, which is a challenging and an extremely rewarding experience.
2:1 undergraduate degree in an appropriate subject, such as English, Modern Languages, Classics, Cultural Studies, History, Politics or International Relations. IELTS 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in reading & writing and 6.0 in listening & speaking. Personal Statement and References required.
