This course is designed to develop students' knowledge in the various areas of language and linguistics (e.g. syntax, semantics, language acquisition, discourse among others), and also to afford students the opportunity to focus the development of their research skills on and within their chosen sub-discipline. The programme is relevant to students with an interest in the theoretical study of the English language and human language more generally, and teachers of English as a Foreign Language who wish to gain a Masters level qualification for career development and enhancement. IELTS 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5, A successfully completed undergraduate Honours degree with a final classification of 2:2 or higher.
