University of HertfordshireThe MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at the University of Hertfordshire is a one year programme for graduates in English, with little or no teaching experience who want an initial preparation course in English Language Teaching at post-graduate level.
The equivalent of a good (i.e. minimum 55% classification grade) 2:2 honours degree in a field related to language, english or education. Applicants with degrees in other subjects may be considered. A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (6.5 in writing, no sub-section below 6.0) or equivalent. Work or academic reference, as well as a personal statement required.
Graduates of the programme will be qualified for jobs teaching English at a range of levels in most countries of the worldThey will be able to take on positions of responsibility at course designand course management levels
