As linguistic considerations become a priority for many areas - development, planning, education, health, IT, marketing - staff in a wide variety of areas need to develop understanding and skills in language planning. In addition, the publication of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure (2011) has changed the legal framework for the use of Welsh and therefore means an ever increasing demand for a bilingual, diverse workforce.
Normally, a 2.1 or above in a first degree in a relevant area and/or relevant professional experience with evidence of recent study. Applicants will be interviewed. IELTS of 6.0 or equivalent.
