University of YorkThe MA Applied Linguistics for English Language Teaching is designed for applicants from the UK or overseas who wish to pursue a career in teaching English as a foreign language. You should have an equivalent of at least 12 months of classroom experience of teaching English on a full-time basis. The course offers advanced enquiry into the processes of language learning, with specific reference to learning English as a foreign language.
