The Master of Research (MRes) programme in Ecology and Environmental Biology provides research training for students wishing to enter a PhD programme or seeking a career in ecological science.
A 2:1 Honours degree or equivalent in a life science degree with a significant focus on ecology, evolution, environmental biology, animal biology, plant biology. Transcript must contain at least some modules in ecology or evolutionary biology and evidence of modules in quantitative methods/statistics. Professional experience and 2:2 applicants with a strong subject specific expertise may also be considered. IELTS 6.5 overall with no element less than 6.0 (or equivalent). Personal statement, CV and one References required.
