MRes Green Chemistry Energy and the Environment

The MRes in Green Chemistry Energy and the Environment provides an introduction to all aspect of sustainable chemical practices. There is a growing demand for a reduced reliance on fossil fuels and for greener manufacturing processes. There is also a need for future innovations to be built on more sustainable foundations. Green chemistry addresses this need and promotes the design and efficient use of environmentally benign chemicals, chemical processes and non-toxic products. This multidisciplinary one-year course involves several leading departments at Imperial, including Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology and Environmental Policy.
