Program Overview

The study of elementary Arabic to learn basic grammar and develop your vocabulary and you will take either French 1A or French 1B, depending on your language skills. You will also take courses in Islamic history and modern Middle Eastern history. You will continue with your language studies in Arabic and in French and take a course in the religion of Islam. You will also be able to choose from option courses on topics such as European cinema, European theatre, medieval literature and culture, and French politics.
