This course provides an advanced understanding of the inter-relationships between conflict, development, security, and governance in developing, fragile, transitional and/or conflict affected regions and countries. You will gain the understanding and skills you need to pursue or develop a career in what is now a major area for international, national and local policy and practitioner communities. You will be equipped to work across many sectors including international development, conflict prevention and peace building, post-conflict recovery, humanitarian aid and natural resource management.
IELTS at 6.0 or equivalent, English GCSE Grade C or 4 or above (or equivalent), a second class UK bachelors degree with honours (or overseas equivalent from a recognised higher education institution). If you do not have an honours degree but you have substantial relevant experience then university can take this into consideration in admission to the programme.
