Entry Requirements:

  • Academic Qualifications: A minimum of a second-class honours degree (upper second-class preferred) or equivalent in a relevant subject.

  • Research Proposal: A short research proposal outlining the project you wish to work on during your MRes study is required. It's advisable to contact the programme director to discuss your interests and suitability for this programme.

  • English Language Proficiency: If English is not your first language, you must have one of the following qualifications:

    • IELTS Academic or UKVI: Overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each sub-skill.

    • Pearson Test of English (Academic): Overall score of 62 with a minimum of 60 in each sub-skill.

    • IBT TOEFL: Overall score of 88 with a minimum of 20 in reading, 19 in writing, 19 in listening, and 22 in speaking.
