Full-time MBA

12 Months On Campus Masters Program

Bayes Business School

Program Overview

The Bayes Full-time MBA is an immersive one-year experience that helps you confidently step into senior leadership roles, shift careers, or even build your own venture. It combines hands-on learning, global business insight, and personalised career support — all from a leading business school in the heart of London.

Curriculum structure

Pre-term & Induction

Before classes begin, you’ll work through online refreshers in maths and statistics, giving you a solid foundation for the academic year. Once you arrive in London, a three-week induction helps you settle in, meet your cohort, and jump straight into leadership workshops, team-building, and early career development — setting the tone for a transformational year.

Term 1 (Sept–Dec)

Your MBA journey starts with exploring leadership, strategy, and how organisations really work. Through modules like Accounting & Financial Reporting, Organisational Behaviour, and Strategy, you’ll learn to understand financial documents, decode team dynamics, and think like a strategic decision-maker.
At the same time, the Global Economy & Investments module gives you a grounded understanding of markets, economic forces, and investment principles — essential skills for navigating the global business environment. You’ll also begin your professional development journey with sessions focused on communication, self-awareness, and leadership presence.

Term 2 (Jan–Apr)

The second term shifts your focus toward how organisations operate day-to-day. In Operational Excellence and Marketing, you dive into Human Resource Management, Operations Management, and Marketing to learn how to build effective teams, streamline processes, and understand customer behaviour.
You’ll also explore the intersection of sustainability, technology, and finance through Sustainable Corporate Innovation and Finance. This module blends corporate finance with topics like digital innovation, ESG, and long-term business strategy — preparing you to lead in a future-facing business world.

Term 3 (May–Aug)

As you move into the final phase, you choose electives that match your career goals — from Private Equity and Advanced Analytics to New Venture Creation or ESG Strategy. This is your chance to specialise and shape the MBA around your ambitions.
You’ll wrap up the programme with the Business Integration Project, where you apply everything you’ve learned to a real organisation or develop a business plan of your own. It’s a powerful opportunity to showcase your capabilities to employers or investors.

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

One of the biggest strengths of the Bayes Full-time MBA is how hands-on it is. You won’t just sit in lectures — you’ll constantly be applying what you learn to real companies, real markets, and real challenges. Throughout the year, you get to work closely with organisations, travel abroad for consulting projects, and dive into practical assignments that help you build confidence as a leader. The school’s central London location also means you’re surrounded by businesses, finance hubs, and innovation spaces, giving your learning a real-world edge every single day.
Here’s how that practical experience comes to life:

  • International Consultancy Week: You’ll travel with your cohort to work on a live business problem for a real organisation abroad — recent trips have included destinations like Iceland, Ireland, and Poland, giving students a chance to experience new markets and work alongside international teams.

  • Group Strategy & Consultancy Projects: Many modules include team-based consultancy assignments where you analyse opportunities, evaluate risks, and present recommendations to real companies. It’s one of the most impactful parts of the MBA because you get to practice solving problems under pressure — just like in senior roles.

  • Business Integration Project (Capstone): Toward the end of the programme, you’ll choose a major project such as a consultancy assignment, a piece of applied research, or even developing your own business plan. It’s a chance to pull all your learning together and create something that aligns directly with your career goals.

  • Professionally focused assessments: Instead of only taking exams, you’ll work on business reports, presentations, pitches, and strategy analyses — all designed to reflect the type of work you’ll do after graduation.

  • Career-focused workshops and coaching: Bayes’ careers team offers personalised support, industry events, employer connections, and networking opportunities so you can test ideas, explore roles, and prepare for interviews with confidence.

  • Electives with practical application: Modules like New Venture Creation, Advanced Analytics for Business, Private Equity, and Investment Strategy and Practice let you work with real datasets, design business models, or simulate investment decisions — bringing theory to life.

  • A vibrant global environment: With a highly international cohort and elective opportunities abroad, you gain cultural insight and global perspective — an essential skill for modern leadership.

Progression & Future Opportunities

A Bayes Full-time MBA opens doors in a very real way. Graduates often use the year to step up into leadership roles, switch industries entirely, or move into more strategic positions. Many go on to careers as management consultants, strategy managers, finance or investment professionals, operations leaders, or even founders launching their own ventures — the MBA gives you the confidence and credibility to make that move.

And the programme backs you with strong career outcomes:

  • Dedicated MBA Careers & Professional Development Team offering one-to-one coaching, interview preparation, career workshops, networking masterclasses, and direct connections with employers through corporate events and industry panels.

  • 89% of recent Bayes MBA graduates secured a job offer within six months, showing how effectively the programme leads to real opportunities.

  • Graduates regularly make big shifts — 48% changed their job function and 60% changed industry after the MBA, highlighting how flexible and transition-friendly the degree is.

  • Bayes alumni are among the highest earners in the UK, with an average salary of £52,167 five years after graduation — a strong indication of long-term value.

  • Your qualification carries global weight thanks to Bayes’ Triple Crown accreditation (AMBA, EQUIS, AACSB), recognised worldwide by businesses, employers, and international institutions.

  • Strong professional networks through the school’s long-standing links with global companies, industry speakers, and an active alumni community that often opens doors to new roles.

Further Academic Progression:
If you decide to continue your academic journey after the MBA, you could move into advanced study such as a specialised master’s, a research qualification, or even a doctoral/PhD pathway in areas like management, entrepreneurship, or finance. Many students, however, feel their MBA gives them exactly what they need to step confidently into senior roles right away.
