Infectious diseases are increasing in importance around the world as we see the rise in the incidence of antibiotic resistance. The MSc in Infection and Immunity is designed to provide an up-to-date advanced understanding of the interactions between bacterial, fungal and parasitic pathogens and their hosts. You will receive training in the skills required in the reading and interpretation of the literature and translating that into evidence-based practice. We aim to develop your research and writing skills so that you will be in a position to contribute to the scientific literature in an effective manner.
Minimum of 2:2 honours (e.g. in Medicine, Biomedical Science, Dietetics, Human Biology) or hold appropriate professional qualifications and be able to demonstrate suitable background knowledge and skills, IELTS: 6.5 (no less than 5.5 in any band).
