Curriculum Structure

Year 1
You'll begin by developing a solid understanding of genomic medicine through core modules such as Fundamentals in Human Genetics and Genomics, Omics Techniques and their Application to Genomic Medicine, and Bioinformatics, Interpretation, Statistics and Data Quality Assurance. You'll also complete either a Research Project (Data) or a Research Project (Literature), giving you the opportunity to investigate a real genomic medicine topic through independent research.
