This course is a theoretically focused programme, developed specifically for the international student working towards an advanced practice role. The vision for this Award is to develop nurses/midwives who are able to actively engage in lifelong learning, work effectively with people of varied cultures, beliefs and practices and evaluate evidence-based practice and literature to inform, advance and lead practice and service delivery. By advancing and facilitating levels of strategic thinking, debate, criticality and analysis, this will impact on students area of practice, professional role and provide the necessary knowledge to underpin developments in nursing/midwifery.
IELTS at 6.5 or equivalent with a minimum of 5.5 in each sub-test, Applicants must: be currently registered as a nurse/midwife in your country of origin, with at least 12 months post-registration experience, have an undergraduate degree (BA, BSc) of 2ii grading in a relevant subject or above or an equivalent qualification, demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, be digitally literate commensurate with the demands of the course, be motivated to advance nursing/midwifery in your current/future role
