You will be part of a unique and exciting dual-field programme, where you will learn the required skills to succeed as both an Adult Nurse and a Mental Health Nurse.You will have the opportunity to help shape your learning experience while being taught by expert clinical and academic staff in new teaching facilities and in a wide range of clinical placements. You will receive excellent support to ensure you achieve both academic and professional success.On successful completion of the course you will be eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as an Adult Nurse and also a Mental Health Nurse.
Entry Requirements: Year 1 Entry (for the academic year 2022/23): Minimum of 112 UCAS points (or an equivalent qualification). Specific Entry Requirements: A levels/BTEC (or an equivalent qualification): At least one science or health-related subject. GCSE (or an equivalent) grades 4/C in Maths and English (preferably with at least one science subject). Applicants will be invited for an interview as part of the selection process. Successful applicants will be required to undergo an Occupational Health (OH) Check and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Non-native English speakers who do not possess GCSE English or an equivalent qualification with a grade of 4/C or above are required to have an IELTS score of at least 6.5 in writing and a minimum of 7.0 in reading, listening, and speaking. The overall IELTS score should be at least 7.0.
