Program Overview

Pharmacology MSc will give students a deep understanding of pharmacology, and allow them to put this into practice through laboratory practicals and projects in world-class facilities. Students will be trained in the design and execution of practical approaches to the mechanisms by which drugs act. This programme will provide students with a strong platform from which to pursue careers in the pharmaceutical or research-related industries, or for further in-depth research in the field with a PhD.

A medical degree (such as an MBBS) or a 2:1 first degree in a biomedical science, pharmacy, medicine or related subject or, in chemistry if the course includes sufficient biological support. IELTS 6.5 overall with no element less than 6.0 (or equivalent). Personal Statement and References required.
