The Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) MSc, previously known as the Rehabilitation Science (Physiotherapy) MSc, enables you to seek registration as a physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This course is also approved by the professional body, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

Typically, applicants should possess a recent first degree or its equivalent, obtained within the past 10 years, with a minimum 2:1 classification. The degree should be in a relevant field such as biological sciences, biomedical sciences, behavioral sciences, sports sciences, exercise sciences, health sciences, or health professional education (excluding physiotherapy). Having knowledge of the physiotherapy profession and prior experience in health or social care-related professional practice will be beneficial. For EU and International students, qualifications must be equivalent, and an English language qualification that complies with the university's postgraduate study regulations and HCPC requirements is necessary. Admission to the course is contingent upon successful clearance of enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks as well as health screening. An overall IELTS score of 7.0, with no individual element scoring below 6.5, or an equivalent qualification, is required.
