MCh Surgery (Aesthetic Facial Surgery)

This MCh in Aesthetic Facial Surgery will provide the surgical trainee with the knowledge and skills to not only be a competent surgeon but also to be surgeons of the future who are innovative, proactive and who challenge the robustness of the evidence base alongside conducting their own research. It is aimed at surgical trainees from the UK and abroad with the emphasis of taking their newly acquired skills and knowledge back to their clinical practices, whether this is in the UK or in their home country.Surgical trainees will benefit from the large portfolio of innovative research and scientific insight into current and emerging surgical innovations (big data and genomic medicine; regenerative medicine; cell-based therapies; bioinformatics; translational surgery; robotics and virtual reality) and to inform clinical practice for championing patient care and safety. The world of surgery is embarking on a time of innovation and change that promises to bring huge benefits to patients.
