Specifically, it builds on the unique combination of expertise and experience in the School of Sociology, Politics and International Studies to: examine the nature of violent conflict in the world today and the international community's response to it; locate this analysis in a comprehensive theoretical understanding of wider development and security studies, debates and controversies, particularly in relation to evolving patterns of global governance; explore these issues and dilemmas through contemporary, empirical case studies.
An upper second-class honours degree or international equivalent in any discipline. IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.5 in all skills.
