The LPC is the vocational stage of the route to qualifying as a solicitor and prepares students through practical assessment for the legal profession. Students learn how to apply academic aspects of law into real life scenarios. The Masters degree in Legal Practice covers the requirement of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) route to becoming a solicitor and in addition, you can specialise in an area of interest through research and a dissertation.The Legal Practice Course prepares students for the next stage of vocational training, the training contract. Many students go on to secure training contracts locally and further afield.The LLM routes combine the taught elements of the Legal Practice Course with a tutor guided research project, giving you a full Master if Law degree in Legal Practice.
A Qualifying Law Degree as defined by the SRA (Solicitors Regulatory Authority). At least a 2:1 classification*. IELTS Academic with 6.0 overall and no less than 5.5 in any component.
