Keele's MA in Politics and International Relations invites you to master the complexities of power, conflict, diplomacy, democracy and policy on a rapidly changing global stage. Curriculum structure: This program can be studied as a one-year full-time or two-year part-time course, with September or January entry, and modular study available up to five years. It comprises four compulsory modules and one optional module, totaling 180 credits: Continuity and Change in World Politics (30), Foundations of Social Research: Design and Philosophy (30), Contemporary Political Challenges (30), Masters Dissertation in Politics and International Relations (60), plus an optional module such as Analysing Public Policy (30) or Conflict, Security and Diplomacy (30).
Year by year (descriptive): In Year 1 you will take the three 30-credit compulsory modules and the 60-credit dissertation, together with one 30-credit optional module. In Year 2 (for part-time routes), delivery is adapted for part-time study and you can accumulate credits across up to five years while completing the same core and optional modules and the dissertation.
