This LLM in Human Rights Law offers an in-depth study of global human rights legal frameworks, perfectly suiting students aspiring to careers in human rights law, policy, and research. You'll take one compulsory unit and then select three others, with at least two coming from the specialist Human Rights pathway portfolio, allowing for deep specialization in areas such as Human Rights in Law, Politics and Society or Migration Law and Policy. For your dissertation, you have the flexibility to choose between an individual or a collaborative group project.

This clinic provides a fantastic chance to work directly with international, regional, and national organizations dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights law, allowing you to acquire hands-on knowledge and experience in human rights law and practice. You'll provide pro-bono legal research assistance, contributing high-quality reports that feed directly into ongoing litigation and policy drafting for partner organizations.
